We've been importing kaiju and kawaii figurines and memorabilia from many of the most popular Japanese anime shows and manga literature for 25 years, so we know a fake when we see one. 

 

Sadly, many trusted retailers will sell you fakes; from the UK's biggest retailers of Japanese toys with physical stores all the way to the smallest stall at the toy fare.
